Today is a good day. It’s the weekend, I got my letterman’s jacket, and I still can’t drive my car. Wait, that’s not a good thing. Today I learned that even though I may have a pretty fast internet connection, I still can’t play multiplayer games. Every single time I try, I’m either told that the server is for low pings only (pings being something to do with how fast your connection speed is, and apparently mine is off the charts) or, if I do get on, it’s all choppy and overall, not fun. So, I guess I’ll stick with KotOR for now. Hopefully, I can get Sims 2 soon. Unfortunately, it costs $50 and that’s roughly how much money I get in a month. Yes, yes, I should get a job. The truth is…I’ve tried. I’ve tried, tried again, tried until my hand cramped up to the point where I couldn’t fill out applications anymore and I still don’t have a job. I don’t get it. And what’s more, only one of the fifty bazillion places I applied at actually interviewed me and they told me “Too bad, we don’t have a job for you.” Everywhere else simply forgot about me or accidently used my application as a coaster or tissue. But it’s all cool ’cause I have a car (so what that it’s a ‘94 Geo Metro) and a letterman’s jacket (er, it can still be cool if I’m only lettering in Band, right?) and I’m doing all right in school (AP Chem doesn’t count ’cause there’s only been two assignments and I tanked one of them). Speaking of school, I had better get going on my homework. Tschau!
