Haven’t updated in a while. I haven’t really had anything to say…yes, I know it’s odd. But tonight is the big night! The B-E Bands Winter Concert. Yay. The songs haven’t been all that tough, and they’re all “Holidays-y”. Duh, it’s the holidays! I kinda miss having Christmas Break though. Instead we get to have Winter Break! Oh joy! Anyhoo, I joined two more Star Trek RPGs along with Devestator. I’m an engineer on Federation Outpost Regal 1 (part of SLA sims) and chief engineer onboard USS Sentinel A (part of the Star Trek PBEM Network). Very interesting. However, I have no clue what’s going on in either. Sweet.

I…am….*shivers* so cold…….well, okay, not anymore, but I’m having flashbacks to an hour ago. Yes, I’m sure you’ve guessed I’m going to put some big long sob story of how my hands were mere seconds away from frostbite because it was raining and cold, la-de-da-de-da. Well, you’re wrong!!! That’s right! R-O-N-G!! …or not….disregard that last bit…please. That reminds me, didja hear about the guy who had his whole left side amputated? He’s all RIGHT now! Har har! Okay, maybe not. *zips off to pursue less humiliating pursuits*
(hehe…about my currently reading thing…I’m not really reading the dictionary…it’s more like skimming it…hehe)
Sphere: Related ContentAs the weekend begins, I look back at the week and ask myself “Why the h-e-double-hockey-sticks am I still in band?!” But luckily, I’m good at doing lots of things (homework does NOT count) and some band functions are fun. Like Tuesday, which was the big season opener for the guys basketball team. They played our rivals from over the river, Mount Vernon. We lost, of course, but we kept with them and the final score was something like 62-53. Then there were two days o’ marching practice. Easy. The parade this Saturday is also just as easy, only it’s colder. And then, tonight was the first big girls game of the season for the band to play at. We played Sultan, some tiny town on the road to Wenatchee, which is a slightly bigger town. Barely anyone showed up to the game other than the leadership class and the band (no surprise there), and we won 62-31. I read a book nearly the whole time. A game’s not worth watching when you pretty much already know the outcome. And now I have a totally different line of thought in my head. Because I feel bored and like writing, I’ll actually tell you how I got there. It’s quite funny actually. When I thought of outcome, I also thought of income, of which I have none. And since I have no income, there’s barely any cash in my wallet. However, what cash I did have, I spent on a bottle of ginger ale at a Shell station. And in thinking of that, I remembered how absurd the prices were for drinks. For instance, it was only 60 cents for a 20-oz bottle of Sierra Mist, but a 20-oz bottle of Pepsi was 99 cents and the ginger ale I bought was a buck thirty!! What the hey-diddly-do is up wit dat? Freaky, I just like smashed a couple of stereotypes together there…and now I’ve gone off track again…no I do not have ADD…oh look, a chicken! *runs off to play with chicken and gets pecked in the shin*
