Bad news for all you copyright infringers out there. WinMX has shut down its operations, according to a Slyck News article. No word yet on if this is permanent or not, but there are reports that FrontCode Technologies (the people behind WinMX) have renamed, relocated, and re-registered. They’re now called WinMX Technologies, and instead of operating out of Canada, they’ve moved operations to Vanuatu, most likely to avoid prosecution by Canada and its litigation-happy neighbor, the United States.
I suppose this means I’ll have to get my music from legitimate sources now…

Well, I did it. I got up the nerve and asked Lindsay to homecoming. She said yes! Pretty cool. Now I just gotta find a tux or suit (Value Village, here I come!) and get some of the old B-Unit gang together for homecoming. Maybe we’ll even get Sarah and Clayton to come (even though they don’t go to Burlington). Homecoming’s going to be fun this year, I know it!
In other news, I’ve finally made a website of my own. It’s not quite finished yet, but I hope to get some stuff on it soon. codyLOGAN (Future Cody’s note: that site, which no longer exists, evolved into the blog you are currently reading. Nice history less, what?)

Day 2 in the search for a homecoming date
I didn’t even see the girl I want to ask most. Maybe I’ll just go with Lindsay…
Day 1 in the search for a homecoming date.
Homecoming…is soon. And I don’t have a date. Why, do you say, does a dashing hunk like me not have a date? Well, truth be told I haven’t asked anyone yet. But it’s not my fault! The girls I do want to ask somehow managed to avoid me all day. Now, I don’t know if they actually tried to avoid me, but I didn’t get a chance to talk to either of them. And it just so happens that I don’t know either of their phone numbers. Gah.
I’ll try again tomorrow. I’ve got to find one soon, before they’re all taken. Believe me, it’s happened before.
