Well, it’s finally time for me to head off to UW. It’s odd, sitting here in my room with very little remaining. I’ve still got stuff laying around, but it’s nothing I’m planning on taking. All that stuff has been packed away and is currently sitting in the family van, waiting for us to leave tomorrow morning to make the check-in time at 11:30.
You know, I’m actually going to miss this town. Of course, it’s not like I’m never going to come back here. I’ll be back on some weekends, and during breaks and the summer, but for all intents and purposes, I’m leaving Burlington. Of course, there are some things I won’t miss (*cough*high school*cough*cough*), but it’ll be a bit weird trading in my small home town for Seattle. But it’ll be fun, too. Especially with free bus rides in and around the city! Here’s hoping I don’t get lost in the wrong part of town…
Hopefully everything computer-wise will work out all right when I get settled in my dorm. I don’t expect any major problems, but I’m a bit iffy about the Internet. That bit might take a little work, but I should be up and running within no time.
And now I’m off to do other rather (un)exciting things until I fall asleep at my keyboard. Yay.
