Pardon the drastic changes. I’ve been having major problems with WordPress recently, so I decided to wipe the slate clean and start fresh. Unfortunately, that backfired on me and nothing worked. Luckily I had backups, but now I’m back at square one, still suffering from problems with themes, the rich-text editor, and permissions. I’m thinking a lot of these are problems with my host, since WP installations on other hosts work perfectly fine.
So, here’s what’s going down: Mad Rants (my personal blog, the one you’re looking at) is going to move over to codylogan.net, formerly a web template store of mine which tanked horribly. Turns out I’m better at writing blogs than I am at designing and coding templates. Anyways, this site (mroarg.lp.tl) will become…something else. I haven’t really decided, but I know it’s going to be a special-interest blog of some sort. Probably tech news because I’m good at that. Anyways, there will be a link pointing to the new home of Mad Rants.

There are a number of reasons for this, the main one being that this host, while very nice for a free one, has a lot of security issues. No, no hackers. Ironically, the host is too secure, which really messes with WordPress. Anyways, these changes will come over the next few days, so stay tuned.
