The Mad Rants of a Raving Genius

I’m not overly superstitious, so it’s no surprise that the significance of this particular date passed me by. Heck, I woke up this morning and didn’t even realize it was 7/7/07. Kind of like 6/6/06. It’s just another day to me.

But for some people, today has got to be one of the luckiest days since, oh, 7/7/7. Get married, hit the slots, or finally decide to go bungee jumping with a safe strapped to your back. Luck will save you! …All right, maybe not. I seriously can’t imagine that getting married on a specific day will really make your marriage any more successful than getting married on any other day. Unless that day was the end of the world, which would make getting married a bit silly.
