Those Raiders will learn…

Das Boot turned out to be a great movie, although the ending was really sad. But I won’t tell about it so all you people who haven’t seen it won’t know the ending. Another bummer: my new car stereo doesn’t work. Major bummer. Although, my uncle tried it out on his car and it worked. So maybe it’s just something we did wrong in hooking it up. Strange. Well, we’ll get it working eventually. Other than that, today was a great day. Got to stay home alone, watch TV, try to do the practice PSAT I have, etc. Next week’s going to be packed. I have a couple after school drama things, as well as a Key Club meeting on Monday, and a bunch of other things I can’t think of off the top of my head. And the week after that I have some more drama things (and a dinner play) and the PSAT. Fun. Well, now I’m depressed about Das Boot. Oh well. Fun times. Yeah. I’m kinda bored. I’m so bored I don’t even have anything pointless to ramble about. Guess I’ll just play the computer. Hehe, those Raiders will learn to fear Cody and the Broncos…

Naughty pictures

Okay, back to plain color background. I got a lot of complaints. No, actually it just made it hard for me to read. Hehehe…well, I just got back from a football game–high school, of course–where the grand old Tigers stomped Bellingham 45-7. Most excellent. Our team’s doing good this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if we went on to state again. I also wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t, but oh well. That’s life. Anyhoo, I gots me a new car stereo! It’ll do for the mo’, but I still want one with a CD player in it. That reminds me, I still need an antenna. Kinda sucks to be around all these cool radio stations (not) when you can only pick up one and barely even that one. Winter is cold. <–Very philosophical insight there. Yes, I was really cold at the football game. Maybe it was because I wasn’t wearing gloves and I was holding a metal instrument…yes, that’s it. Well, now I’m off to spend a few hours goggling at naughty pictures and drinking Mountain Dew. Okay, scratch the naughty pictures part, I’ll just do the Dew. Hehehe…

Does this make me sound emo?

New background! Does it make my blogs hard to read? Give me a comment if that’s the case. But anyhow, today was a major bummer day. Everything was fine until, oh, around 6th period at the end of the day, when I realized that I had two library books 4 days overdue. And as I was pulling out of the school parking lot, I almost get front-ended (that’s not a phrase, is it?) by some bozo driving through the middle of the parking spaces (okay, so I was too, but at least I was watching where I was going). And then I sit there for 5-10 minutes waiting to get out of the parking lot because there was so much traffic and I had to make a left-hand turn. Being able to drive to school has it’s ups and downs. I get home and immediately–even though I try real hard not to do this–get on the computer and waste a couple hours doing nothing. Then I feel like I just wasted my whole day (which I essentially did) when I realized it was 6:00 and I still hadn’t done anything worthwhile. I hate myself sometimes. Bad habits can really get on one’s nerves. But I did do a few good things and currently, I’m having problems with ICQ. For some strange and inexplicable reason, it won’t let me log in to my ICQ homepage site builder. Only yesterday I was able to, so what’s the deal? Now it’s eight and I still feel like there’s something I didn’t do. No, it couldn’t be my homework. I don’t ever do that and I don’t feel bad. Hmm, it has to be something deeper. Meditate on this I shall.

Jury-rigged music

Wowzers. Das Boot is a really intense film. Keeps my on my toes trying to figure out all that German. The English subtitles help a lot though. Hehe. Anywho, I changed the oil in my Metro, so it’s practically as good as new. I also had to rig up my CD player with some portable speakers (with Velcro) for a temporary music setup until I can get a stereo. Still have to wash and wax it…just kidding. It does need a wash, though. There are muddy paw prints all over the hood…

Good day

Today is a good day. It’s the weekend, I got my letterman’s jacket, and I still can’t drive my car. Wait, that’s not a good thing. Today I learned that even though I may have a pretty fast internet connection, I still can’t play multiplayer games. Every single time I try, I’m either told that the server is for low pings only (pings being something to do with how fast your connection speed is, and apparently mine is off the charts) or, if I do get on, it’s all choppy and overall, not fun. So, I guess I’ll stick with KotOR for now. Hopefully, I can get Sims 2 soon. Unfortunately, it costs $50 and that’s roughly how much money I get in a month. Yes, yes, I should get a job. The truth is…I’ve tried. I’ve tried, tried again, tried until my hand cramped up to the point where I couldn’t fill out applications anymore and I still don’t have a job. I don’t get it. And what’s more, only one of the fifty bazillion places I applied at actually interviewed me and they told me “Too bad, we don’t have a job for you.” Everywhere else simply forgot about me or accidently used my application as a coaster or tissue. But it’s all cool ’cause I have a car (so what that it’s a ’94 Geo Metro) and a letterman’s jacket (er, it can still be cool if I’m only lettering in Band, right?) and I’m doing all right in school (AP Chem doesn’t count ’cause there’s only been two assignments and I tanked one of them). Speaking of school, I had better get going on my homework. Tschau!
