Homecoming picture

Finally got the picture scanned and uploaded. I look like a dork as usual, but it’s still a really nice pic.

…biatch

I don’t quite know why I’m doing this, but perhaps it has to do with the fact that…

I AM THE BEST PERSON IN THE WORLD AND WHATEVER I SAY GOES!!!

…biatch.

Okay, that was completely random. Don’t look at me like that! Before I go completely batty, I’ll just list out some cool stuff that happened recently. And cool things you should check out *Jedi mind trick waving*.

-Found a half-million more webcomics to read
-Mac Hall
-Ctrl+Alt+Del
-VG Cats
-Men In Hats
-There are others, but I’m too lazy to write them all out.
-Semi-hooked up with Lindsay after Homecoming (I’m not sure what exactly constitutes hooking up these days)
-Promoted to Captain and Task Group CO on my Star Trek simm (yes, I’m a nerd like that)
-Joined two bowling leagues, one with the school
-Bought a Mountain Dew. Hell yeah!

Other stuff happened, but I can’t remember all of it through the drug-induced haze I’m in right now…I’m only kidding.

Oh, and I got back the pictures Lindsay’s mom took before Homecoming. Once I get them scanned, I’ll post ‘em up. I hope the other pics come soon. Also, I’m still trying to create a website of my own, cleverly entitled codyLOGAN (because putting my last name in all caps is the shiznit). I’m running into some problems, mostly related to content, but I hope it will have some cool info on me and stuff like that. Maybe I should start a webcomic…no, must…resist…evil…ARGH! *is glued to addictive funny random webcomics with cute fuzzy animals and bleeding*

Glee!

Great homecoming dance

Haven’t had much of a chance to post this. Eh, better late than never…

Homecoming was simply awesome. Of course, I did wish a number of times that I could shoot the DJ and get away with it, but the fact that I was there dancing more than made up for it. She’s by far one of the more awesome girls I’ve ever met (you’re still number one, Becca).

…I’m not about to bare my soul to you all, so we’ll just leave it at that. Let’s just say I hope that there will be more dates in the near future.

I don’t think I ever mentioned to any of you that I’m in a bowling league Monday nights. It’s pretty fun, but I don’t think it ranks up there with the one I was in back in Katy (you remember that Ian?). It’s not too bad, I’m getting back in the swing of things. Speaking of bowling, I have practice tonight for the school travel league. After three years of me whining and complaining about not having a bowling team at the high school, they finally make one. Oy. That’s all I have to say. Oy.

Can’t go wrong with a goatee

I did the Amazing Race today. Bad move on my part. I’m still feeling woozy.

In case you have no idea what I’m talking about (or are making a mistaken reference to the TV show), the Amazing Race is one of Burlington’s homecoming class competitions. Here’s how it goes:

There are four teams (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors) composed of ten members. Each member is assigned a number (1-10 obviously), which correlates to a certain activity, such as figuring out a simple math problem or eating a nasty sandwich while running up and down three flights of stairs. The catch, however, is that the whole team must run to each station, placed all over the campus. The goal is to reach the finish line (after completing each task successfully without fainting or puking) in the least amount of time. Points are awarded for first, second, third, and fourth places (for determining later who won the overall class competition).

Tonight, with my help of course, the seniors were the victors at about 29 minutes, edging out the juniors by less than a minute. Of course, I was totally about to keel over, so I vowed never to do it again (there’s another Amazing Race for Chickenfest…that’s another story). So now the seniors are in first place for the class competition. We’re upholding the tradition! Woot!

In other news, the big dance is coming up quickly. I’ve already got my suit, made dinner reservations, and bought tickets. All that’s left is to clean up the Geo so it looks somewhat presentable. This year’s homecoming should be really fun. Hopefully I won’t dork it up with Lindsay like I’ve done with a couple dates before. But now I’m older and wiser and have a goatee. You can’t go wrong with a goatee.

The search ends

Well, I did it. I got up the nerve and asked Lindsay to homecoming. She said yes! Pretty cool. Now I just gotta find a tux or suit (Value Village, here I come!) and get some of the old B-Unit gang together for homecoming. Maybe we’ll even get Sarah and Clayton to come (even though they don’t go to Burlington). Homecoming’s going to be fun this year, I know it!

In other news, I’ve finally made a website of my own. It’s not quite finished yet, but I hope to get some stuff on it soon. codyLOGAN (Future Cody’s note: that site, which no longer exists, evolved into the blog you are currently reading. Nice history less, what?)
